Jaana and Renata’s adventures in Edinburgh
As our summer holiday is approaching, it is nice to look back on the warm sunny days of last summer. We’ve all had a great time, we're sure, and some of us had the chance to get to know different countries and cultures.
Jaana and Renata visited Scotland to learn more about the country, its people, language, culture and schools. Here is a short summary of their adventures.
They arrived in Edinburgh, the city of beautiful old buildings, churches and castles...
… and went to school right away. They studied very hard every day, so they could bring back new knowledge, language skills and fun games for their pupils.
After the long school days, they explored Edinburgh:
They met a Scottish piper
They saw Greyfriars Bobby
They ate haggis with neeps and tatties (this was a posh-looking one)
They visited old castles
One of the castles was guarded by a knight in shining armour, Knight Andrew.
They also wanted to see the Loch Ness Monster, but they could not find it. Jaana and Renata searched high and low, they even went to the
World’s End,
still, they could not find Nessi. Can you guess why?
